While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I encountered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The State of Affairs: Squalid and Disregarded
From the moment I walked in , it was evident that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The surfaces were tacky , and a nauseating aroma of stale beer and neglected washrooms permeated the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of human waste, old age and a sickly smell. The serving zone , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — backed up, with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was human waste .
